you can remove the coating with no adverse affects,its a teflon heat coating that they didnt even use on the old sc kits,my first sohc sc didnt have it and i bought it brand new

You can remove the coating, but it wont be quite as efficient. The clearences will be greater, and "lubracicity" will be lower. Run it for a while with the blades the way they are, until you get the money to rebuild it

My rotors are chipped a bit. I had to replace the rotor assymbly w/ 1 from another charger I had cause the bearings were chattering. I put the SC black together & there was no change in boost level or the way it drove. If it does make a difference I think U would only find very small imfrations on a dyno. Don't worry about it & just let it ride.
