Default JRSC problem?

When I'm driving the teg today, I heard a light rotor grinding some from the JRSC. It seems like it's coming from the pulley of the charger. I thought the belt might have slip or snapped. But I think the belt is still there. What could the problem be?

Thanks

just check. I thought the belt were gone at first cause I couldn't tell. But the belt is there and I couldn't figure out what the sound is.

Can you see/feel any oil leaking from the nose of the charger?

I don't see any oil at the charger nose (is that where the pulley is?)

how long have you had the charger on? i had a noise like this when i first started the car up, and it was due to the belt. looked fine, but when i took it off the inside row of "teeth/ribs" weere gone. take it off and check it out.

I had the charger maybe for 10k miles.

The sounds seems like it's from the pulley area but no oil leaks.

AMF Racing, do you meant that the pulley teeth were worn?

the charger being busted will neccessarily not lead to any oil leaks. recheck hostboard. ive given some more details there. if its, f#cked up, youll still be able to drive it until you can do something about it.

I couldn't figure out if it's the pulley or the charger that's busted. That tapping sound only happens after the car is warm up.

I could hear it from the cabin.

does anyone knows a good and trustworth place in the bay area to take the car to?

**** that sounds like a diesel. I'd check the tensioner pulleys. Maybe you lost one. Then check the belts themselves (charger to the alternator and alternator to the crank). And hope for the best.

That sounds very bad. I would not drive it until you get it looked at.

good luck.
