Re: Will this oil restrictor work? (tegunderpressure)
When I first turbo'd my d16, I had oil blowing past the seals with a -4 line. Replaced it with a -3 line and problem solved. Although...if you're going to use that restrictor (and it looks reeeeeeally small) I'd buy one from somewhere else....$14 seems like a rip off. I think you can get those from Sunpro or Autometer alot cheaper....it's a standard fitting made of brass for goodness sake

Re: Will this oil restrictor work? (Smashback)
Hmm, there is also another guy selling an oil filter to go into my -4an line, he said that would decrease my oil pressure. But I also hear of alot more people switching to -3an and solving their problem. If I were to switch to a -3an I would have to change my block adapter and turbo adapter wouldnt I?

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I am using a Stealthmode oil line kit, so what else will I need to switch to -3an? Will I have to change the block adapter and turbo adapter?

I would just change to a -3an line. I have yet to see a real analysis of what those oil restrictors actually do, like a pressure test before and after the restrictor. Who knows how it is affecting the pressure.

Re: Will this oil restrictor work? (Muckman)
Forget the restrictor.
What I need to know is if I need to change the fittings on my block and turbo in order to accept the new -3an line. And if so, which in particular will I need?
