Default JRSC Fuel Setup...

AEM fuel rail and FPR Walbro 255lph fuel pump.. I think Im going to go with RC 310 injectors(Is this a good Idea??).. Can I bypass the JR FMU and just use the AEM FPR?? The AEm FPR has a rise rate of 1:1.. or should i go with a Cartech FMU?? (Ive heard bad things about the JR FMU).. This is going to be on a 2K GSR at around 10lbs of boost via boost upgrade and crv crank pully.. Also going to be using a MSD 6btm... WHat do you think of this setup??? any input would be very helpful!! thanks

For the money, get the Aeromotive FPR. The Jackson FMU does have a diaphram and gets stuck frequently. The 310's are fine for your set up. Unless you have some sort of standalone i would use the JR Map mod.

the JR FMU has A 5:1 rise rate... Wich may be over kill i know you cant reduce that... You think 1:1 on the AEM FPR is too little?? And where can i come across an aeromotive FPR and how much are they?? thanks for the reply..

you can pick up the aeromotive at http://www.jegs.com
look at
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...50&prmenbr=361

thats the one i have. I think that the Jackson and that whole allen wrench screw thing blows, i had 3 get stuck on my car.

The AEM is fine, i dont remember how much the AEM is off hand, but i think for like 20.00 for the Aeromotive is a lot better.

I would think about the JR mad mod. it helps you lower that static fuel pressure and tip in detanation.

I'm also running the JR/Aquamist kit. It does work well to cool intake temps, try the Hondata gasket as well. It helped my 10psi set up before i decided to run 14.

Look at the black motor...thats my new project.

The Cartech will be $200, the AEM FPR and Fuel rail(which btw isnt necessary) are another $275 together, plus the injectors...

You may as well go with a Hondata/DSM setup.

Hondata makes a an intake manifold gasket which is supposed to decrease heat soak.

1) No you can't just bypass the FMU and just use the Aem regulator....the 310 injectors are too small that's why people use 440's with standalones or SMC's or the S-AFC.

2) 310's + Cartech + Aem regulator is a proven set-up. 310's so you don't run lean. Cartech, to lower the rise rate...so you don't run ungodly rich and Aem regulator to lower your idle fuel pressures for that intank fuel pump.

3) If you have the money a tuned standalone is way better than any of the above.

4) If you need a Cartech 2025 (for supercharged appz.). I can sell you a new one for $180 shipped.... If you check the Cartech website I believe they sell them for $250 not including, tax + shipping. Let me know by email if your interested.
