Default JRSC B16A - How much boost?

Hey Guys,

I have an CRX with a B16A - Charged (JRSC)
I was running about 7lbs
and wanted to go higher I put on a CRV Crank Pulley and got as high as 14-15lbs.
I really dont wanna put Pistons and rods cuz Im gonna have to pay alot of $$.
How high on a tuned Hondata JRSC B16A stock internals, do you guys think?
And if anybody knows

What pulley will get me about 10-11 lbs. (no higher)
I was getting 7lbs on a stock b16a crank pulley

Let me know
Thanx

with good tuning you should be able to run more than what you are running now, but why tempt fate? Get your bottom end sleeved and built.

that is a lot of heat that you're introducing into that engine with that crank pulley. once the heat goes to a certain point... all that boost will turn into your worst enenmy. the Endyn Stepper pulley will probably get your the PSI that you're looking for if you have the 8 PSI pulley already on the blower.

Also I have many things to lower the engine temp like:
Oil Cooler
Lower Thermostat
Hondata Intake Gasket

That should help me out

i used to have the same setup as you in my crx, i was using the endyne stepper pully and i saw about 10 lbs of boost on my bone stock b16a. never had a problem. i would not suggest running the crv pully with a stock blower. the supercharger is not efficient and is just making more heat, which you do not want.
get a stepper pully and make sure you have enough feul and you will be fine.

i have the CRV crank pulley with my 8 psi nose pulley and from what I've seen..... i'm getting less heat than some people with a regular nose pulley and crv crank pulley.

what charger? M45? M62?

If ethier even the bigger M62 isnt real efficient above 11psi. But this is just what a tuner says in town. He says it heatsoaks and actually over works the charger. But dont quote me on that. As I'm going by his word, not my knowledge.

Look here - http://jacksonracing.com/pages/components.html, then click on the appropriate vehicle. For example -

99-00 Civic Si (B16A2, DOHC VTEC) - 051-265 S/C GEN3 M62CCW 4.2-4R 1

97-01 Integra Type R (B18C5, DOHC VTEC) - 051-265 S/C GEN3 M62CCW 4.2-4R 1

97-0 Prelude SH (H22A, DOHC VTEC) - 051-605 S/C GEN3 M62CCW 3.4-6R 1

The DOHC VTEC engines use the M62 blower.

SOHC and DOHC non-VTEC engines typically use the M45 blower

HTH!!
