my friend just got a brand new Johnny race car intercooler. the 3 holes on top for mounting it, GO STRAIT INTO THE CORE, WTF!! you can blow in one end and feel the air just spewing out all 6 mounting holes. !!!

 

i just noticed that with mine as well......

nothing some bolts with thread sealer cant fix.......

 

really? i hadnt noticed that on mine. i will have to check that out and see if that is the case with mine

Damn I need to check mine out then, i thought they just went on the cosmetic plates and the top and bottom and not actually into the core. Anybody else notice this?

he does give you screws to cover up the holes that aren't used right?

 

wouldn't you think that if it wasn't sealed, JRC would have mentioned something on his website?

 

Probably just figured that if your smart enough to mount it yourself, then your smart enough to figure that out. It is really no big deal. Just use thread locker, or rtv sealant.

 

if you look at the pics on the JRC site they show you that they plug them up.
