Default Journal bearing retaining clips

I just rebuilt my turbo and it's been balanced so it's ready to be put back on my car now. When I picked it up the balancing shop asked me if I knew how I put the retaining clips in for the bearings. I was like "."

He said that they have two edges...a beveled edge and a sharp edge. Apparently the beveled edge needs to go toward the bearing. He said that if the sharp edge is toward the bearing then it would probably ruin the bearing and I'd have to buy a new turbo.

I have no idea how I put them in. Is it truely worth the effort to take it completely apart again? Is it really that big of a problem? Those clips are just a pain in the *** and if it's not that big of deal then I don't think I should fool with it. Thoughts?
