Jimfab traction bars....
I've heard of Jimfab traction bars, but how much do they really help out? Anyone have any links on where you can get them or does anyone have any pics of them?

Re: Jimfab traction bars.... (hatchling)
A while back they had a groupbuy for $260-$265 shipped, I almost bought a set.
I think on average they sell for about $300
Do a search, theres tons of info on it in the archives

I emailed Jim one time and asked him that same question. Told him I had a civic with 17 x 7 inch rims and he said rub should be a problem and daily driving should work fine. If you want to know more send Jim and email he's very responsive and helpful. Website is http://www.jimfab.com

I'm using jim fab bar for my daily driving car a about 6 months now. I still don't have any problem yet. I like the jim fab bar a lot. I highly recommend the bar to everybody.

I have been using the Jim Fab bars for over a year on a daily driven Del Sol and have had no issues at all. they should be fine for a daily.

I agree, it is working out well for myself for quite some time now. And yes I would choose it over the Z10, Lakewood, Comp Eng, etc bars

Re: Jimfab traction bars.... (whiteblurr)
While we're on the subject, for those that have the Jim Fabs installed was there any, if any modifications required to the intercooler piping for fitment?
Edit used the good ole search and found some pics : Searched under creator Ladysman, excellent pics
Does anyone have any pics of them installed?

Does anyone know if they're going to make any for DA's. I saw on Z10's site that they are "coming soon." DA's get no love

Probably for the turning radius allowed by them..... I'm sure if you turn the wheel ALL the way to the left or right, you're bound to rub something.....

http://www.natedogcreations.com made me a real nice setup for my 1993 civic, and can turn left to right no rubing.

With 205/50/15 tires on Civic Si wheels I can turn lock to lock without any rubbing on the JimFab bars.
The only modifications I had to make (because I'm pickey) was to order the bars non-powdercoated, grind one of the passenger's side tabs to clear the DelSol radiator lower outlet (only affects some cars). JimFab includes poly spacer mounts to correct this...but I wanted to ommit the spacer so I ground some material off the tab. Send the bar out for powder coating and installed it.
I don;t have any pics of the tab handy but I'll take one if there is interest...and if I can get my camera in there.
No problems, no fittment issues, no hitting tires, no problems with intercooler piping. Although my intercooler piping is alittle different than the usual routing....I still see no problems for people using normal routing either.
