so yeah...im about to start a built b series turbo engine project. Wondering if the JG sleeved blocks are any good? like the short blocks that they sell of the the actual website? I don't see very many ppl running those sleeves so i was just curious to know if there worth buying or not. LMK!!!

i think the same kid installs there sleeves too but al kidding aside i would do a search they do not have a very good rep tons of problems with there crap

How long does it take fail because of the work? The motor has been in my car for 3 years...been through 3 dif. turbos, 3 dif cranks and well ive only had to change the head gasket cause it went 1 time, when my dizzy decided to crap out. So how long does shoddy work take? I mean how long does it take till instead of blaming on the orginal machinist until its not their fault ? Or is that a forever type thing, cause everyone on here is always quick to blame their problems on something else. I mean it couldnt be the way the motor was put together, the driver beating the crap outta the motor or any number of different things that can be attributed to motor failure.

your not lucky he used to do good work so im sure you got a decent sleeve job... However its hard to defend him after all the countless threads of him screwing people over...**** i waited almost 1 year for a custom intake manifold that didnt fit... Im suprised hes not crippled...

Exactly. Half the time, it isn't an issue about the parts failing as it is about the parts failing to arrive at your house.
