I did a whole lot of turbos, but I'm looking at a supercharger for my ITR. There is a craigslist add for a JRS rebuilt for $1000 with no injectors or brain (no problem for me) How can I tell if this "rebuilt" charger is any good or scrap metal?

I know how to check that on a turbo, how to I do it on a charger? Do I have to take something off?
