Default Jackson Racing SC Question!

Does anyone know if there is a D series crank pulley that is bigger in diameter to increase boost on the JRSC?

I'm thinkin' along the lines of the B series guys using a B20 crank to bump up boost for cheap.

I am just wondering if there is a D series crank pulley that is larger than my stock D16Y8 crank pulley

not sure, in my old setup, I just ran a smaller blower pulley to up the boost. a 3.0 gave me 12 lbs, a 3.4 would probably put you around 8 or 9. I this doesn't answer your direct question but *may* help you. Brian

I understand that if you use a smaller blower pulley it ups the boost. It's just the JR wants a lot for the boost upgrades and if there is a bigger D series crank pulley then that would be the cheapest way to up the boost a little.

Thanks for the help though...

Anyone else?

Yes, you can get a bigger crank pulley, pretty sure its the CRV but not positive. I bought one for my old setup from Jackson/Moss Motors.

If I had a B series, the CRV pulley would be great, but seeing how I have a D series, I'm pretty sure the CRV pulley won't work on a D16Y8...

It worked on my D16Z6, ran it succesfully for over 3 years.

B20 crank pulley worked? If this is true, that is the answer to my question. I appreciate it...

Call Jackson/Moss and ask them what upgrade crank pulley it is that they sell for the SOHC. I'm 99.9% sure that it's the CRV pulley. Thats what they told me when I bought mine from them 3 years ago. I had to cut my own lines on the ribs of the crank pulley for timing marks b/c they were so new then.

it would have been a nice video if it would have showed the race. All it shows is a civic and camaro leaving the line and that's it. What's your setup?
