Default Jackson Racing Map Sensor Controller anything similar I can use?

I am swapping over to a jackson racing supercharger on my d15b7. I have an fmu and everything I need besides the Map sensor controller. I was reading that it helps a lot. I couldn't locate any for sale. Does anyone know if there is something comparable I can use with my set up? Any information is much appreciated!

I would go with a proper engine manage system. What came with jrsc is old outdated garbage. Try a s300 or rtp.

Seriously, this should go without saying. Anyone still using an FMU hack today deserves to have his engine blow up in his face.

The Honda crowd are just tune ******. If your power level doesn't dictate larger than stock injectors then the modest gains you will see will be just fine with an FMU. If you need larger than stock injectors its time for proper engine management.

That FMU is a piggy back solution for running the engine with the blower, even just having it tuned on a EMS like hondata will make a world of a difference in how it drives and performs regardless of what injectors or mods it has on top of the JRSC. It will have a better AFR which is one of the biggest factors.

BS it will drive like stock out of boost cause it is and the AFR in boost will be governed by the FMU. Vortech makes a super FMU where you could tweak your AFR's to perfection while in boost. Again this advice only works if you are after small gains and can get away with stock injectors.

I used to have an FMU on my Vortech supercharged 5.0 for 3 years. I was only running 4-5 psi and on stock injectors so it was fine. When I got serious and upgraded the blower and ran 16 psi I went to a stand alone.

For the same amount of money, or less than, you spend on the fmu, something to retard timing, missing link/map controller you could have a tuned ecu. :/

One way check valve so the map sensor only sees vacuum.

Retard base timing.

Set up the FMU with correct step up ratio.

Done.

I would only do this on the anemic D-series and as far as stock injectors could take it which is probably 180 whp or so in a boosted set-up.
