Nice, how fast does that go? I know those things can fly, just wondering. Time to move up north.

Sweet. My friends actually building one of those too. (gonna be ghetto though) but they're FAST.
Hmm is there anyone else on here that finds it ironic that there's an intercooler on a SNOWmobile?
just curious

if you find the hood shots on the thing you can see that it is open to the air
the HP is doubled with the turbo it is 3 cyd. 660cc that produces 110hp and the sled is pretty heavy it is 572lbs.

I'd like to ride this bad boy. I wonder how quick it is? I love the getupandgo of a 2stroke. I would think you'd have to ride on a lake to take full effect of the turbo. I just can't see the practicality of it on tight trails or playing on hills.
I'll stick with my $1500 Ski-doo 500cc and make my civic turbo

My friend have one, we took the muffler off, put a boost controller and a boost guage on. I test it today.
Start from 15 psi stock to 21-22 before fuel cut.
It's now pretty quick and the sound make 2 strokes guy not laughing at all.

Actually, not for very long. The suspension has plastic pieces referred to as "slides" that basically keep the track in place. The snow lubricates and cools the connection between the track and slides. W/O snow, you smell burning plastic

Re: It's not a honda but still has a turbo (JrCRXHF)
Dam. I grew up with old skool sleds (early 70's Articats and an 81 John Deere) I got my first ride on a newer sled the other day. It was a 98 Yamaha 700 Tripple (I forget the 3 letter modle) I can't beleave what I have been missing all these years. I only had it up to 70 MPH cause the feild I was in wasn't that big. My friend was pulling me around with my ski's on and at one poimt he hit 60 mph. Good times.

Wish I can afford to buy that thing. Not the best looking PWC out there but I love it. Oh, they don't even sell it here in Canada, it's too much $ for us.
