itr cams on b16 turbo
Im running a b16a with itr cams, cometic 0.40 head gasket with minor head work to drop compression and arp head studs.......and i was told to put the stock cams back on due to cam duration and cam staying open longer making me loose power with the turbo........so i want to varify if this is true and get some opinions........thanx

Depends on your boost level and manifold type. If you are running reasonably high boost and the exhaust manifold flows well, you will benefit from the bigger ITR cams.
Best of luck with your project.

Think he may be a little confused, sounds like maybe some chamber work?? making them bigger to lower the comp.

Re: itr cams on b16 turbo (sho_tyme_psi)
The only case where extra duration will hurt you with a b16 head is if you run a small turbine and high boost. You need to have lots of exhaust manifold pressure to start feeling the effects of reversion.
BTW I think he means they deshrouded the valve seats. That wouldn't do very much though, as thats not enough material to impact the CC size much.
