i dunno man, this topic has been covered alot before. do a search and read some reviews. i dont have one but was thinkiing about getting one. its cheap so you might as well try it out. you will need to brace it and for 7psi or less i think it will work fine. i heard a rumor that ss auto chrome used to be crap but they recently made some changes and iv heard good thing about the new models, within that last year or so. can anyone confirm with me????????????

stick with what works, not whats cheap.
Otherwise you end up spending more cause after your clusterfuck, you then go and buy the right parts.
Only manis to get are; tinker219 (www.lovefab.com), or anybody else on HT thats reputable, Full-race, max-rev, maybe drag and greddy.
At least you know these work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have that manifold.....i have not run it yet so i cant give you the complete low down....i DID do som fabricating to it though...the wall thickness isnt the issue... its the welds... if you know someone that can weld well then go for it....i have heard of guys running 300+ hp through these manifolds with no problems...
Skip that chit mang... You get what you pay for...

That is not a problem. ever look at Lovefabs turbine flanges? same thing. There are, however, other major problems with this manifold. junk

incorrect... i have had the excalibur and have an sst on the way. have seen 3 other sst's. There is alot more metal between his holes than the ones in that picture. I know the measurements SHOULD be the same but I assure you, LoveFab flanges are not identical to the one shown.
i have one and i had to put three more tubes on the collector to just get it to stop boost creeping so it was alot of work and a pain in the *** and after all that the turbo still hangs down to low for my taste so i am going to go with thin inline pro because it is stainless and comes with a lifetime war. i could not get ssauto to take the manifold back when i found out that it boost creeped like mad.
i made 182 tq and 183whp at 5300 and then the boost was at like 12psi and we stopped due to the stock b16 i could so not get that manifold it is not worth the time and effort the inlinepro will flow really well for you and it looks really clean.
all in my experience and IMO.

There is NO stress on those unused holes once the turbo is bolted on. so they wont break there. But the welds are still weak and the tubing is thin so thats why they are prone to breaking.

even though its a cheap manifold those bolt holes are not the worry, as long as its sealed it will work
they know that they have to use flex exhaust pipe in order to take stress off the manifold, that automatically shows that its a weak welded manifold
if u wanna spend the money, shave and brace it

How many have ever had personal experience with these manifolds? If the number of people talking crap about them are equal to the number of manifold that have been sold, this company must be making some big $$$. I always here people saying thet their friend's cousin' sister had one that craked... I would buy one

Got one in my girlfriend's 00 Integra LS. 9 months now, daily driver, no cracks. It was one of the newer ones that already had the bracing. On a related note, the car is featured in the March 04 issue of Honda Tuning. My friend's Accord is the cover car. We told them it was a "custom" exhaust manifold :D
All the pictures people showed of them cracking were the old ones with the long wastegate tube which cracked and no bracing which caused the runners to crack. The one I have has the WG flange welded practically to the runner, much less prone to cracking. And the turbo flange is braced to the exhaust flange.
I didn't even see that many pictures of cracked ones. I did a search a while back and came up with like 4 different ones. The rest were reposts of those. All I hear from people is "it'll crack in a week, month whatever". They all have friends who had one crack, or know a shop, or whatever.
Bottom line, it ain't the greatest manifold, but it's not that bad. It's a good deal for the price and it looks cool. I'd recommend cleaning up the holes for the WG flange and turbo flange as the welds aren't super clean there. But the welds are decent, typical robotic stuff it looks like.
The company that makes them is some huge company in Taiwan. A friend has been by the factory last time he went back. They also make tons of headers and manifolds for other cars, and I know quite a few people using them wihtout cracking issues.

so the manifold is "free"
