Im starting a budget for a build over this summer and i intend to have it installed spring 2007.....anyway i was wondering if there are any good internally gated turbos that can make 300whp in a GSR, but that i can adjust w/o a lot of work to only make.....say....225 if i want.

I'm asking this for 2 reasons....
1. Manifolds are cheaper if they don't have the flange for the WG
2. I don't have to spend $200+ on a WG and $45 on a dump tube

I'm just wondering the differences, but in the end i'll probably end up w/ the externally gated turbo anyway....

GT28RS. Not exactly budget, but it fits what you're describing almost perfectly.

 

that turbo has been mentioned again and again and i really wish i had the budget for it, but i don't......i'm going to need something a little less spendy.

I'm looking in the $600 range......give or take a C note...
