Default Intercoolers and Water?

I tried to find what im looking for in a search. But no luck. So heres my question. You all know how a CAI can suck up water without the bypass valve? Well, would the intercooler do the same if submerged in water??? I know that its pretty tough to submerge a whole IC in water, but if it did happen, would the engine take in water??? Sorry if this is stupid!

Intercoolers don't suck air in, therefore, they don't suck water through. Air from the turbocharger just passes through it.

Just put a bypass valve on the IC pipe after the intercooler.

The boost would probably tear apart that awful AEM invention.

That's the point. Maybe I should have added "that will work great" to make the sarcasm more apparent hehe.

WTF. I ask a simple question and i only get one good answer. In fact, thats the only answer i needed. All this extra stuff didnt need to be said. I came to this forum to ask questions and gain knowledge. I did a search like everybody tells people to do, and nothing came up, so obviously every body is a geniouse. So, i ask a question trying to build my knowledge and i get laughed at. Sorry guys, i didnt know exactly how an IC worked. All that i knew is that air passes through the IC and air from outside cools that air. So, since i didnt know anything else bout IC's, i figured it was open to the outside elements. Sorry im such a dumbass but i came here to lose my dumbassness, and you guys just laugh.

I would normally not care that much. Acually, i got a good laugh out of "attach the bypass valve to the incooler piping." But i believe it was you who said "100% dumb ***" Thats real funny. Im sure everybody got a good laugh out of that one.

Also, considering you only have 16 posts in the forum, you might not want to be the one bashing people. I mean, my 120 something posts in very miniscule compared to most peoples, but its definatly more than 16.
