Default Intercooler to turbo

has anyone ever thought of the idea of:

Air-filter---intercooler---turbo---intercooler----throttle body...

instead of turbo---intercooler----throttle body??

would this even be possible??

What would the point of that be? To have two blingin' intercoolers?

That isnt going to work.. I think what your getting at is trying to cool the air before entering the turbo..

Problem with this is that the intercoolers make hot air cool and not cool air cold.. Same reason that putting an intercooler on a NA motor isnt going to do anything..

Think of your radiator(no thermostat on it).. When you start your car its cold, the longer it runs the hotter it gets until the radiator is in its efficency range.. If you had a radiator that could make cool water cold, then your engine would never warm up..

Think about it, you're trying to cool ambient air with..... ambient air

It's the same temperature!
