Default Intercooler sizing

I am interested in knowing the maximum height of an intercooler for either an integra or civic without having to remove the impact beam. I am planning to piece a custom kit together and wanted to know.

Thanks,
Khoi

6 inches fits, 8 requires cutting, 10/11 requires complete removal

i can vouch for that. 8 inches fits perfectly on a 99-00 coupe ... you can even keep that splash guard under the car...

So is 6inches the most you can go with out having to cut at all?

I ordered a 30 x 6 x 2.75 inch high intercooler from ebay. No cutting/removal required for my 97 coupe.
