Just remember bigger doesn't mean better! Bigger means slower spool and more pressure drop, I recomend a quality intercooler thats more reasonably sized.

for what he is going for he doesnt need anything big at all..... so you shouldnt be worried about how big you can go.

You can use this measurement: 24x12x3. That is the size of mine on my 92 hatch, and it works fine. The only bad thing is that it makes the turbo spool alot slower than normal.

ummm take a look at full race intercoolers, the only difference is FR has slight slants on the top and bottom and there IC's flow fine..... and my IAT's are around 90* depending on the temp outside.
plus it doesnt matter because I am changing some things anyways

The only way I can see those things flowing decently is if the inlet is split and the air is channeled 50/50. Then it might be alright, but that design is really turbulent.
