Intercooler Piping Refinishing
I just recently bought some IC piping and it's a bit on the surface rusty side. Whats the best way to prep the pipe and then paint it (I was thinking of just spraybombing high temp paint). Can I sandblast?

I would use a scuff pad to clean it up, and then etch prime. After that, paint it whatever you want. I take it that it's mild steel or something?

I'm looking to paint it flat black actually, no bling bling type stuff for me And yes, it's mild steel. So I won't need to sand blast it? Just use a scuff pad?

Re: (digitalVinyl)
Thanks a lot to sc4dr for answering my questions! If anyone is interested I can post up pictures later of the original pipes, the products I used, and the "after" shots
