Default Intercooler needed immediatly?

In the next few weeks I am having a turbo kit installed. The kit does not come with an intercooler-so is it okay to run with out one for a while, just keep the boost low I assume!

If you stay at like 5-6psi, then you should be fine. Personally I wouldn't want to run a turbo at all without an intercooler. The fact that you are in FL, doesn't help.

get an intercooler no matter what boost level your aiming for....it's a great safeguard. Ask Arturbo for the precision intercoolers....Earl or ninesecrx for the PWR intercoolers

Thanks for the quick responses, the place where the kit is getting installed said they could mount an old Saab one for the time being?

dont screw around with the saab intercooler. If you can't afford the intercooler right now, just hook it up without it, stay out of boost and don't drive your car for extended lengths of time. Then spend the money on a nice intercooler.

Ha, 4 different responses-for now I guess I will have them put on a saab or DSM, and keep the boost low, surely an intercooler is better than no intercooler.
