Change intercooler oil every 5k miles, check bearing clearances every 30k miles.

Just general stuff.

i use brake fluid and power steering fluid to clean mine out. i heard the mixture of the oil is superior to that of normal synthetic engine oils!

I thought you had to flush the intercooler w/ an water-anti freeze mixture every month...??

I also changed the muffler bearings at the same time.. so i don't forget...

open up one of the charge pipes off your intercooler and fill it with oil. most intercoolers typically require 2 quarts of oil. if you dont oil your intercooler often the air wont be able to get lubricated properly and it will have very bad flow characteristics.

We joke around a lot in this forum. Please don't be offended. They are joking. Don't do any of that stuff.

A bath of a light soapy water every now and then might not be a bad idea.

You guys are simply horrible We weren't born with this knowledge you know...

I would say the only maintenance would be to give it a large dose of compressed air as often as possible

well the thing is, you shouldnt even bother modifying your car with a turbo if you dont understand how it works. you're bound to break something, then you are going to come back here and ask for help because you blew up your motor because you were running 20 lbs of boost with 240 injectors or whatever.

point is .....
http://www.howstuffworks.com

goto the automotive section, read up about everything and take the time to learn. browse the forums....... dont waste bandwith by asking what is pretty much common sense. ......."AIR" goes through the intercooler......its not gonna require much maintenance.....

oh yeah, you might want to check out http://www.dictionary.com, maintence is not a word last time i checked. like dustin said, "once is a typo, twice is idiocy" (or something)

"40 weight sounds nice."

If you want people to be nice to you and hold your hand you should post in the newbie forum. I don't know what site you're originally from, but over here we have standards. Honestly, I don't think people expect you to know everything, but the line must be drawn somewhere.
