Did you ever find the flow numbers for this core? How about a price on the larger IC? I think the 7 x 20 would be good for me, or the 9 x 22. Thanks.

these are $320 plus about 15 bucks for shipping. This is an example of one intercooler that was made. We might make the end tanks a little different with having the top and bottom slanted??? Not really sure yet. I can not get any larger sizes. I did put a flow chart up on the other group buy post...check it out there. This will fit a crx civic or integra. I think the core size should be good for 350hp at the wheels. It is plenty big enough for most street/strip cars. It is an intercooler only. It does not come with piping......come on, $320 bucks is super cheap for a name brand intercooler that is brand new......Let me know who wants one.....Mike

No...they are just generic for any type of car. Like I stated above, we might change the endtank design a little and have 2 slanted sides and put the pipes in the middle of the endtanks. For the most part, in/outlet holes are going to be 2 1/4 but we can make them for 2 1/2 if someone chooses.....Mike

id go for it if the end tanks were not slanted, and if they are, as long as it doesnt look gay id still go for it... but no offense those welds could be cleaned up a little.

Wow...those welds look awesome to me. I have seen waaaaaaay worse. The slants on the top and bottom are actually a good thing. They help direct the air into the core. If you make the endtanks square, the air just hits a wall and trys to back out where it came from. It would look bascily the same as the one pictured except the bottom would be slanted like the top looks already. The intercooler core is 18.5x6x3. Then you have to add size for endtanks. It will fit good on most any turbo kits weather its a custom kit or bolt on kit that needs a intercooler. It will be plenty good for 350 wheel horse power all day long.....Mike

EDIT: BTW, if I didn't already have an IC, I'd definitely get one of these -- they look very nice
Based on the pics & info privided, I would highly recommend this IC to those who are shopping for one.

Does anyone know if this intercooler is bigger then the one's that come on the drag kit or how much whp the intercooler on the drag kit can hold? I'm aiming for 400whp in a new project and wondering if the drag intercooler is sufficient or to get this one? Thanks Paul

Paul....I think these intercoolers are about the same size as the drag kit. I think these intercoolers and the drag ones are good til about 350 whp then the air intake gets a little hot when its daily driven. These prices are with endtanks and all.

I measured the depth of the drag intercooler and it's only 2 1/4 inch deep. Yours is 3 inch deep correct? Do you think it will make a difference, and what size intercooler would you recommend for around 400whp. Paul
