Default Intercooler dimensions for 94-01 Integra?

Just wondering.. I have already had a turbo setup in my 94 Integra RS.. B20B with a drag 3 turbo kit.. The intercooler that came with the DRAG 3 kit and allowed me to keep the grille in my bumper.. But i eventually parted ways with that setup and no longer have access to measure the IC.

Anybody have any pics or ideas of dimensions of what Intercooler I would need to keep the plastic in my bumper?

Setup will be shooting for 350whp.

TIA

Grant it the bottom lip was trimmed because I bought it used but you get the idea that it does support it. My intercooler is black now so it's hidden

I ran both a Johnny Race Car 8" and a SPearco 550hp in the grill of my integra and didnt have to chop out the plastic for either of them. I dont know the exact dimensions of the either of them, but heres a pic for funzies

Here's the JRC 8" with bottom inlet/outlet

Nice. Thanks for the pic!

I'm wanting to fill the whole grill and not be able to see the end tanks and keep the plastic.. If you don't mind me asking how much did you give for the Johnny Racecar FMIC?

^^The JRC 8" intercoolers were reasonably priced, but you'll have a hell of a time finding one nowadays because they're no longer produced. I have a black painted JRC 8" in our shop, but its spoken for. I will try to find it and take measurements. More importantly, I'm going to try get a picture of the SPearco intercooler as its probably a better example of what you want. Its a larger core (wider and taller) and fills out the entire opening in the grill, although i think you still see part of the endtanks.

The precision 350hp intercooler should also still fit while allowong retention of the factory plastic

You can fit a Precision 650 if you notch the bumper support bar. I had one on my DC2 a LONG time ago....

I'd recommend going bigger if you can afford it and see yourself stepping up in the future.

anything that is core size 18x7x2.5 will not require cutting of the bumper/grill

Go autoworks Gt2 intercooler rated for 500hp. It's 3.5" thick and fits under the crashbar. You can see how much had to be trimmed off the bumper. I also had a radiator under the core support. I think if I had a normal radiator it would have fit a lot better.

Go autoworks tuner kit is what i'm going to order.. I'm only looking to make 300-325whp max. You say normal radiator.. like are you running a full-size integra radiator right now?

I don't want to haft to trim that much honestly..

- GO-AUTOWORKS R FMIC bar & plate intercooler ~ looks too big

This looks more realistic to me.. http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/gomein.html

No. I was using a scirocco radiator. It fit all the way under the core support so the intercooler got pushed farther forward. I think if you have a civic/integra radiator it will fit a lot better.
