Re: intercooler blocking Radiator problem (GReddy SI)
Hard to tell in the pic, but is that the OE radiator?
Had the same overheating problem on my Integra, but it didn't really have anything to do with the IC blocking the radiator. We swapped in the Civic radiator for space issues, and it was pretty much too small. In stop and go traffic in the summer, it would overheat. Put in a full size Fluidyne, and the car stopped overheating.

Re: intercooler blocking Radiator problem (AP-Signworks1)
I bought a OE Replacement Radiator for an integra for my hatch, But even then many people have to runa switch to the fan to keep it constantly on during traffic. My temp gauge goes up to just under 3/4's then my fan turns on. Now when i'm in traffic i just flick the switch and I haven't had that problem since. It's the cheapest way to fix your problem......

Re: intercooler blocking Radiator problem (GReddy SI)
if you don't want to buy an aftermarket radiator just get an aftermarket fan and reverse it so it's a pusher instead of a puller and put infront of the radiator
also...do you have a mugen fan switch and thermostat
it made a hell of a difference once i put them in my car

Re: intercooler blocking Radiator problem (FwdCivicHatch)
aftermarket radiator may help but mine still overheated until I cut out my bumper support in the middle to allow some air flow over the intercooler and into the radiator, mine is an eg hatch.

Re: intercooler blocking Radiator problem (boostismycrack)
Doesn't need to be an aftermarket radiator, just dual core. Also, wire the fan to be on all the time, I have it so mine is on as soon as you turn on the ignition. I did it by running a wire into the car and right to the back of the cigarette lighter plug. (I only used that because I used to have a switch on my center console, and the wires wer already there.)
