intercooler anodizing
Does anyone know where I can get my intercooler anodized black in the DFW area, and about how much it will cost? I really dont want to paint it with BBQ paint.

andonizing might be too thick to allow the i/c to cool efficiently enough

Negative.........anodizing is the best way to go about doing this. The anodizing actually forms a metallic layer chemically bonded to the aluminum that will transfer heat a bit better than paint, but will be much stronger. Here's a thread for you to sift through......

Don't know where in Texas you could get it done, but I would ask Tony1, Arturbo, st00pid, locash racing or one of the other Texas guys I'm sure they could point you in the right direction. I got mine anodized for $50, but $75-$100 is a better guesstimate. GL.
