Default Which intercooler?

Hey guys,
I'm currently piecing together my turbo kit, and I'm stuck at the intercooler. I can't decide whether to get a kit (such as the Greddy type 31) or to get a core and do custom piping.
I'd prefer a kit because of simplicity, so I was wondering which kit you guys would recommend.

My setup right now is going to be a Precision SC44 turbo with an inline pro manifold.

TIA.

Steve

I personaly think it will look nicer and be a lot cheaper if you just bought an intercooler and made or have someone make piping for you.

Talk to camp1320 on here, he carries alot of the spearco bar/plate intercoolers and some tube fin. Earl carries pwr tube/fin intercoolers. I was thinking of the greddy intercooler kit myself but was told that the greddy intercoolers aren't made to handle over 15psi. Camp will definately give you a good deal. paul

Well I don't plan on pushing much more than 10-12 psi with this setup. Do you still think a custom intercooler would be worth it?

I would get a Spearco or PWR (in no particular order) intercooler with custom pipes. Wait this is what I am doing

which is the biggest PWR intercooler a 98 integra can fit wihtout cutting the bumper's black grille? Trimming/cutting is okay for the bumper support, just dont wanna take it out completely or cut the grille out. I have no AC or PS by the way.

My 18 x 6 x 3 fits just right. If you want to keep your bumper beam then this size is just right. just push the a/c line back .... give it a good push and it should be bent back...and it clears perfectly.....even with my RS type2 lip

That sounds good. What did you do for your piping?

Also, do you have any pictures?

No pics of yet.....i'll have all my pictures up by next month.....as for now.....I'm still piecing the setup together. With the piping i'm going to jcwhitney and just creating it myself....for alittle more pride in my setup...y'no the i did it myself thing...anyways....2.25" in/out which is the size recommened by RRE and Mike Laskey....I'm going to bead roll the piping....I've test fitted the intercooler and it clears just fine.....and the entire intercooler is exposed! yehaw....
