Default Integra LS with boost

Does anyone know how much boost a stock LS Integra can handle safely? A friend of mine is looking to get rid of his Accord and get an Integra or Prelude or something. I told him he should get an LS and go turbo. So, if you guys can give me some info about that, I would appreciate it.

9-10 pounds provided his motor is good condition.

untuned: 9-10 pounds (actually ben ran 12 pounds at the track a few times when he had a turbo LS, but I wouldn't do it)

tuned (w/ Hondata or the like): 12-14 pounds provided that the motor is in great condition and compression #s look good.

I was also wondering the exact extremities of a stock b18b. I sold my 95 LS for a 94 LS (much cleaner, 100% dealer maintenance, not an auto , got $1000 from the whole trade). Anyways, the guy took real nice care of this car.

-What numbers could I see from the compression test if the engine was..
-perfect
-normal wear from a 94 b18b w/ 85k
-falling apart.

-In correspondence to those #'s what psi could I run daily & @ track for ea. instance?
I'd appreciate any approximations. It'd lay some questions of mine to rest.

but what if the turbo he uses is a T28? or a 62-1? same boost levels..

a t28 at 14psi will make 220 psi.. a 62-1 @ 8psi would make about 350hp.

so.. what do I do now??

Stick a 1/4" restrictor plate behind the throttle body and you can run 80psi of boost with no problem! Yer car might have trouble making 50whp though
