I have been troubleshooting a problem with my car and I've decided to try and supplement my current fuel system by adding an inline pump. I'm currently running a walbro255 high pressure pump with an upgraded 12-gauge power wire, making 524whp.
I'm planning on installing my old dragIII inline fuel pump to supplement the fuel system. My question is: is there a chance that this will make things worse? I.E., can this inline pump become a restriction in my fuel setup and cause more problems? Has anyone done intank and inline pumps on a high HP setup with success?

Well, I don't want to go to a cell because I want to run the SFWD class. And I'd like to weld a sump setup onto my stock tank, but time and money don't permit that for this sunday's race.
The inline pump will add fuel pressure but no more volume I wouldn't think. If the 255 intank is not enough then maybe it's time to run a sump and a Automotive.
