Default Intank fuel pump feeding to Inline pump question.

So my build is starting to come together. Lately I've been thinking of ideas on how I want to go with my fuel set-up. The ideal set-up is welding a sump on and running dual Bosch 044 pumps, or an Aeromotive pump. But as of now, I'm just exploring of ways I can go for a solid fuel system without cutting the tank and welding a sump in.

My buddy has a Fuel pump from a Twin turbo supra. That I can have for free. Those things are good to roughly 600whp. So I was thinking of running the Supra fuel pump intank, Have it feed to a -8 line, run it under the car, to a Bosch 044 pump. And -8 line from that to the fuel rail.

Anybody ever ran anything similar to this? or have any input on this.

Like I said. I'm just exploring different ideas right now.

oh the goal is around 600whp for now. But I want to leave room for when I want to go for more power with a bigger turbo.

hey viet_boi, you still got two months...drop the tank and weld on a sump and get it over with sooner than later. theres an aeromotive pump as well as two weldon pumps in the drag racing forum fs thread.

by the way, hows the green integra coming along?

The Integra is Gray buddy Its comming along slowly. Goal is to have it out by summer. Yeah I'll probably end up welding on a sump. But just exploring ideas for now.

You got PM too.

I know Tony1 has done (at least tuned) a few inline bosch setups. That is also what I plan to run on a new setup I am building for my street car. Although I am gonna be using the stock feed and return lines. Shoot for about 600 on race gas. We will see how the fuel pressure holds up.

Seems as he has had good luck with it in the past.

The problem with a sump is you have to run quite a bit of fuel, and if it's ever on the street that would be a PITA sometimes.</TD></TR></TABLE>
when you say -6 or -8 feed line is that from the intank pump to the inline one or from the inline pump to the fuel rail?
