Default intake piping size

i have a b18c t3o4e 57 trim. i am lacking filter space, so i made an intake using 2.5 tubing. is this big enough or will it restrict?

if it is the same diameter as the turbo inlet you are fine. if you start getting smaller, then id worry.

an E housing is 3" inlet.
