You have clearly been here long enough to know a stupid thread from an informative one. Threads like this are not just for the OP but for other members of the technical forums.

Your posts are perfect examples of what have polluted these technical forums from the information overload they used to be 10 years ago, when people were happy to help others get up to speed with their projects.

The OP has asked a legitimate question, politely, with no BS or about a sarcastic/ridiculous topic. He has also been in PM contact with me and TheShodan about his build and turbo options, he is still learning.

If this is all you have to provide to this thread, then GTFO!

Just stick with the one you have, use the money elsewhere... We have made 800whp on a stock manifold. No need need for it unless your making more then your goals, just spend the money on some nice tires as your going to be spining alot at the power level.

Thanks man, yes I am trying to learn and with such contradicting information in other threads regarding intakes I taught it was best to start my own thread. It's all good and well to say do some "research" but times change, what was considered good "back then" might be old technology nowadays. I haven't got money to be throwing away on parts that might work well.

Thanks to those who contributed helpful information.

Tyres will be on the agenda but right now I'm focusing on my engine build and how to get the most from that.

I think even if I stick with type r intake manifold that it would be wise to fit bigger throttle body as currently my boost pipe is larger diameter than TB.

Do you have an example of that?
