which intake manifold???
Well i have the skunk2 man. on my gsr right now. I like it but im building a custom turbo kit, and i heard a lot of good stuff about the victor x man., but my question is should I sell my skunk and get a sheet metal type man or the jg, or even keep the skunk 2??? Also for those who have the jg i notice it says good power from 7,000 to 10,000 rpms i only plan on reving to 8500rpm. but how is the power from 1,000 to 7,000? And i know that the sheet metal types dont really have any power untill 6,000 but when im at the track and im switching gears it doesn't go below 6,000 so should i get one of those or what? Im just stumped on what i should do because i wanna make the most power i can get outa 20 plus pounds of boost.thanks a lot for your guys help
well my experience with the JG manifold did increase flow from 6500-8500 over my GSR manifold which was extrude hone. with the GSR I was running a 12.1-12.2 Air fuel ratio. with the victor x a/f ratio had leaned out to 12.7-13.0 so i had to add fuel for the additional air flow.
I think I might stick to the skunk mani. Just in design, the victor X has a big plenum and short runners. This setup always yeilds power for more of a top end operation.
