Default InlinePro?

What kind of headwork was done on those crazy 10 and 11sec stock block inlinepro cars? Does anyone know?

Riiiiiight. If I had a 10 second car and was competing, and you asked me what cams and headwork I had in there, I'd say "it's all stock dude"!

I run stock head with upgraded valve train, not saying ported heads dont work, but must people cant get the power down with stock heads let alone fully done up heads.

Jason,

haven't your chambers been reworked because of the bore size??

Nope just am running full ferea package turbo valve springs, and retainers, spring seat locators, and bronze valve guides, with stainless valves. The head was just cleaned, seats re cut, and head reasembled. Had no clearance issues with low compression pistons. Jason

Daewoo must make one hell of a motor then. Wonder why more people don't run them since they are (were?) half the price of Hondas.

Oh ok did you even go with like 1mm over on your valves??

Also what is your full setup anyways, if you don't mind shearing?? Or are you one of those guys who don't like to share ??

What ever you want know ask, as far as over size valves they were .5 mm over not the full 1 mm, we figured it would be easier to clean up the valve seat if we had to cut them a slight bit bigger. Anyone buying this?

Yeah, that's the reason I went with .5mm oversize valves, you can keep the stock seat. I had the head touched up and lightly ported by a local machine shop. If you don't mind my asking, what cams do you run with your setup? Stock gsr cams? Thanks.

Stock b16 or gsr I think they are very similar. I would try different cams, but havent had the need too yet. Jason

what do you think of the crower stage 2 cams, dual springs, titanium retainers, ans stainless valves .5 over(all from crower)? are they any good 4 turbo? and thats not kevin thats a guy from dragworks, i think i herd that car was on the bottle. dont know tho. if thats off the bottle thats one fast car. i saw it at inline when they were putting the turbo on its HUGE!!!

i don't believe that teg uses the bottle. Even if it did, it still did it with a full exhaust system and ran a 11.2

EDIT: the teg is from dragworks i believe. Is that the car you saw getting it's turbo put on or are you talking about the red coupe(99-00)

i hate to say this and i might be crazy but i think my car runs better with the exhaust. i dont know i have ran both ways and it seems to have a little more power with it on, still slow 4 now. i talked to kevin before and after he ran that number and hesaid it was stock before and the after when i saw him he just winked and said it was all driver
edit : it was on the maroon dragworks teg i saw gettin th giant turbo. i was talking to stan with my boy brett and he even said it might be too big for the street
