Default Inline pro SS cast manifold

I'm curious as to opinions on the Inlinepro cast SS manifold here is a picture.

Specifically, the wastegate placment is about as optimal as you can get, but it sacrifices the nicely sculpted merge collectors we see on most other manifolds.

I'm not in the market for a manifold, I'm just curious what we think from a technical perspective.

Hey, i remember you from a meet somewhere in CT!

anyways

looks to me like that manifold wouldn't 'optimize' spoolup

I don't really think you need to worry much about the merge collector on a log manifold. Isn't just the exhaust pressure differential before and after the turbo used to spool the turbo, and not the actual exhaust pulses like a equal length tubular manifold?

looks good but I would have put the WG port on the front so the exhaust had and easier 'split' to either turbo or WG. That would let you keep the more scuplted collectorish top part area, whatever you call it on that kind of manifold, if it matters

that manifold has proven itself TIME and TIME again....its a great manifold..check out some peoples setups on here, although im sure it is more rare now as Mike (Motormatrix) was a big supplier and he is now a weenie and dissapeared.

great luck in your searches,
mike

I think we're onto something here.

And everyone else, enough fanboying, I'm looking for tech info, I'm sure this manifold has been on several great setups.

Can someone explain this further, for us non-physic-minded numbskulls?

Please don't leave us Art, I don't know what we would do without you!

Hows it going trying to convince Luke?

Great quality-construction manifold, however I'd prefer something equal length for its exhaust pulse and merge collector benefits. I'm sure there are more benefits, i'm just too stupid at this point to understand them.

PS> Art, you figure out my answer for the Endyn board yet?

*I'm not a supplier for InlinePro*

BUT

I can get either the cro-mo or the SS manifolds from InlinePro for you peeps.

I get a nice cut in $ as well, so give me a holler if your interested!

BTW, I've personally seen alot of turbo setups, and InlinePro's setup is at the top!

damn it, I was hoping we could talk about manifold design not make yet another promo for various companys. If only people read the first post...."I'm not in the market for a manifold, I'm just curious what we think from a technical perspective."

who ******* cares who sells it for what and when!

every single manifold thread turns into this BS.

lol no offense, but it seems like there is a new generation of HT users lately, they all ask the same damn questions that were asked months ago, all of this has been covered numerous times.

I know LOTS about all motor and various other things, bored with that Ive been getting into turbo lately.

yah thats why im afraid to ask questions because I dont want to get flammed because someone else asked the question and i didnt use the right word on the search or I dont even know what im searching for. So no I've just been reading in the fi forum for awhile just trying to educate myself and not get flammed for asking a question thats been asked a million times.
