Default Inline oil filter to turbo

I wanted to see how many people run an inline oil filter to their turbo. Pictures would be great too Below is a picture of my inline oil filter. It's to the right of the exhaust manifold. Oil is fed from a Greddy oil adapter to the inline oil filter to the oil feed.

arent u worried about that filter getting clogged up and stopping all the oil going to the turbo, a normal filter is changed every 5K and they are alot bigger,

how often do u replace ur inline filter?

Not everyone runs an oil adapter so they are not getting filtered oil. I will take it apart in a couple months and post pictures of the filter.

It's easy enough to open and check every oil change. A lot of DSM's here run them with no problems. Was curious if a lot of Honda people run them as well.

If you just run it from the factory sending unit hole then it's filtered.

even if it comes from an unfiltered source from the oil filter adaptors, the filter does filter the oil in the system, so the oil in the pan is filtered, just won't be an instant filter.

yeah you are right. You have to be careful of oil starvation when using one of these. But I think if you are collecting enough material in one of these filters to block oil flow that you motor has a lot bigger issues going on
