Default inline fuel pump question

On my 00 Si, do i need to run two fuel pumps; one intank and the other out for the Drag turbo kit or can i just run one 255 walbro pump in the tank? im only looking to run like max 8 pounds.

yes ditch the inline pump and just run the one walbro intank pump.....

just make sure you have the proper engine managment to supply fuel to the engine.....

ok but im just bolting the kit on, so i have no engine management as of now. The only thing i have is the fmu that is 12:1. And i talked around and some said to run two because for the high demand the fmu puts out?

If you're running an FMU, you should definitely run the inline pump. The intank walbro won't be able to handle the high fuel pressure by itself.

Keep the INLINE if you still have FMU, like others had said. If you go hondata or something like that you can run larger injectors and take out the inline. Untill then KEEP IT IN!

agreed, keep the inline pump, if you don't you can blame the first couple of replies to this thread for your blown motor.

Walbro 255HP will work fine with the 12:1 FMU. 255 regular would be a tad insufficient.

Drag/Revhard sent the inline pumps because most people that buy there kits will use the oem pump in the tank.

UM NO

If you are running the FMU you will need the extra volume the inline pump provides. the walbro is almost enough but is it worth melting the engine? NO.

if you go with stand alone the walbro will be enough.

the fuel pump is a 255lph-hp. it is supposed to up out more than the regular lph."at 80 PSI the standard 255 lph pump will flow around 132 liters (35 gallons) per hour. At that same 80 PSI the equivalent HP (high pressure) fuel pump will flow over 210 liters (50 gallons) per hour."- thats what nolimitmotorsports say about it. will this be fine or do i for real need the two of them. And the # on it says Gss317, i beleive its a prelude not civic, will it fit?
