i drive my car with inline b/w filter and rail and with a 12:1 fmu and after about 10-15 minutes of driving my car bogs and backfires then it drives fine for a little and does it again. so i took the inline out and drove around still same thing so i took the fmu off and drove around and went away so i took the fmu back to vortech and i guess they put in a new spring so everything was working. then i put my inline back on again today and it starts bogging and backfiring again. anyone have these problems. i have the msd inline fuel pump on my 90 integra. thanks!

 

you drove your shiz without an fmu? carefull now, i hope you werent boosting! but not to belittle you but have you checked the polarity of your inline fuel pump? common problem...

i just set my fuel pump with that relay like they showed on one of the posts in this forum. how do i check the polarity? not really into the electronics and wiring stuff. thanks

 

Just double check that you dint wire the + to the- and vice versa.....its messy but take off the out put line and run the pump and make sure its not running the motor backwards, it should push fuel out not suck in....
