Default INJECTORS STOPPED WORKING...WHY!

GSR HEAD / B20 bottom end / T3T4... DSM injectors...resistor pack wired in CORRECTLY and has a solid ground...STOCK Fuel Pump (soon to be replaced w/ Walbro)...

Since the motor was dropped the car was running good for about 4 months, went to Church Auto down in Long Beach for Dyno Tuning about 3 weeks ago... Maxed out HP @ 200 whp 8 psi because the fuel pump would not keep up...

3 days ago the car DIED on the freeway... progressively lost power over about 10 miles until it just shut down...

after i had the car towed home, i was assuming that the issue was caused from a dead Fuel Pump... but im not sure... i have also heard that it might be distributer issues as well, but im not too sure how true that is...

i then pulled the fuel rail off and had someone turn the key... NO FUEL SPRAY... not a drop...what might be causing this?

Check the fuse to the pgmfi relay and also check the relay.

BETTER NOT BE A RELAY ISSUE!....
i just replaced the Main Relay about 4 months ago cause some how water got in it and FRYED the ENTIRE WIRE HARNESS!... costed an arm and 2 thumbs to replace just for labor!

where is this specific fuse found DRAGLS... thx.
and what is the best way to check the relay?

TURBOTIME... does that sound common for a fuel pump going dead... a "progressive loss of power till it just shuts down?"

yeah check the fuse first.

Ive never had a fuel pump fail but if it doesnt prime its either the pump itself, the main relay or the pump fuse.

Do you hear the relay click and just no prime when u turn the key?

Get a voltmeter, check to see if there is 12v on either of the wires going to/from your fuel pump while the car is priming (just after you turn on the car for about 3 seconds).

If there is 12v, fuel pump is dead. If there isnt any voltage, main relay is toast or wiring is bad.

There is always a possibility of ECU going bad to but rare...

i have just learned this...
"the main relay powers the fuel pump, but only for about 2 seconds when the key is first turned to run. (The amount of time the CEL is on. After that, the ECU looks for confirmation the engine is running before energizing the pump again.)"

my main relay went out about 4 months ago or so like i said... when that happened the car would start and stay on for about 1-2 secs then die just like described above.... NOW the car wont start at all... and there is NO fuel comming out of injectors... SOOOOOoooo... since the car will not start WHAT-SO-EVER... might that sound more like a pump issue rather then a MR issue? what do you guys think...

i can hear the fuel pump priming...(high pitch sound for about 2-3 secs.) so that means that the main relay is doing its job.... so then does that mean that the pump is dead?

Check for fuel pressure at the rail. No pressure = dead pump (or no power to pump). If pressure is good check that you're getting 12v to the injectors (no idea what relay handles this on a honda). If you have 12v to the injectors and they still arent firing then is probably a computer/sensor issue.

i AM getting fuel to the fuel rail... i pulled off the connector from the filter to the fuel rail and put that end in a cup... turned the key and the gas started to come out... any ideas why the injectors are not sending the fuel... the injectors are 450cc Blue tops with resistor box wired in correctly... resistorbox and injectors have been running the car for months with no issues so far. (resistor box IS properly grounded and wired in from a reliable shop)

and no one ever makes mistakes when wiring in a resistor box...

get a noid light and check that you are getting injector pulse

also check and make sure you are getting spark

noid light? where do i get that from...
what is the best way to check for spark?

the same day the car stopped working i puled off the fuel rail.... the injectors were NOT spraying...

this same resistor box and wiring schematic have been running the car solidly for about 7 months, since the failure of the injectors, the wires running to them have never been touched... that alone kinna rules out the idea that the injectors resistor box might be incorrect.

but i am interested about this noid light...
how would spark prevent the injectors from spraying?
and once again... how should i check for spark?

this is strangly enough becoming the most difficult issue in auto history...

Main Relay = good
Starter Relay = good
Fuel pump = good
injectors = error

why?
say i check the spark with a noid light... if there is no spark, what does that mean?

if there is spark, what does that mean...?

WOW ...you are a long way from making history. If the ecu is not giving the injectors firing orders then they aren't going ti inject. The injectors are basically a valve that allows pressurized fuel into the engine. You just need to go thru the steps to find out whats NOT happening. Then it will be easier the find out why.

appreciate the advice NJIN...
i will take a look at the ecu... i will unplug it and re plug hopeing for an answer there...
