Injectors question
Alright, when boosting a b18b, what size injectors should you be going with. A friend of mine had 550's i believe, but i've read of people going even higher. What size should i be going with any why should i go with that size, please help me out.

i'm looking to run about 300 whp+, not too sure on fuel pressure

440cc injectors will be enough for 300 whp. However, I would go with 550cc injectors just incase you want a little more hp. People have gotten as high as 375 whp using 550cc injectors. Will you be upgrading your stock intank fuel pump? On my setup I'm running 440cc injectors, stock intank fuel pump, stock fpr, and a nos inline fuel pump. The car made 290 whp with this setup at 12 psi on a stock b18b blcok. I don't know what the injector duty cycle was but my tuner said they weren't maxed out. Hope this helps.

car will most likely be high tuned, going to run a hondata setup rather than a crappy drag fmu

If your going hondata i would recomend at least 550's so it will give you a little room to grow...

i was being told 550's are way too big for about 300 whp and i should go with a smaller size

Like I said it NEVER hurts to be able to supply too much fuel. Right now I am running 550cc injectors on my D16Y8 all-motor because I don't have my nitrous setup yet. It runs fine with the big injectors. With tuning you can trim out enough fuel to make it run LEAN on 550's if you wanted. What are you using for engine management?

No such thing. However 550s are the biggest RCs you can get without requiring a resistor box. Just get the 550s and stop bumping this to the top.

If you go down to 440's you will be pretty much maxing out the 440's with no room tto grow. Then have fun selling your used injectors just to buy new ones, because dont lie to yourself you will want more power. Just buy the 550's and dont make things complicated for yourself
