Default injector size and myth

i want to push around 350hp in my b18b and im wondering what size injectors i need. i have also heard that even though i buy 1000cc injectors and if i dont fully utilize them, that it is bad for the injectors. is this true? thanks for the help

is 350 your MAX and you dont plan on making anymore ? if so go get some 750's or 880's high imp. if you plan on gaining more hp get the 1000cc's. i think someone was trying to warn you about fuel wash (over sprayed fuel washing oil away from cyclinder walls.)

350 max. and what is the diff between low and high impedance? do i have to get a resistor box? i have obd1. its a 94 integra ls. im about to go boosted. also is the pcv system good enough for 350whp? or am i going to have to go with a catch can system? thanks

the integra is naturally high impedence(saturated) so if you get high impedence injectors NO resistor box is needed. peak-n-hold(low impedence) you NEED a resistor box. the difference between the two is the way they send/receive information to/from the ecu (lehmans term).

a catch is helpful no matter what hp your making.

depends on the fuel your using. if your aiming for 350 on a stock ls then youll need either e85/e98 or c16 (not recommended), which would require 750's+ for the use of ethanol. i have a stock b16 and its about 320 on 12lbs using pte 880's tuned on e85. so that give you an idea sorta.

To avoid all these issues with idle quality and injector sizing, I am currently planning on purchasing a set of T1raceparts.com (Tony1's) Bosch injectors. He's saying that the Bosch units will idle better than pretty much any 500+cc injectors from whatever company (RC, PTE, etc...).

I will be getting them soon, and let you know how it goes. If the T1 Bosch 1000cc injectors do idle just as well as smaller RC injectors (550cc's, 750cc's, etc), there is literally NO REASON at all to get anything else that is smaller. With the 1000cc Bosch injectors, you can have stock-like idle, cruising, and enough fuel for literally every common power level all at the same time...lol

Just curious as to how long it might be until we could hear the results, I'm anxious to hear

Also if I remember correctly, are all Honda/Acura in stock form saturated injectors, thus meaning from the above 4th post that if you didn't want to use a resistor box you need to run high impedance injectors? Just wanted to double check, thanks.

Exactly, the real reason that those T1 Bosch 1000cc injectors are really bang for the buck is the fact that you won't need an injector driver box to run them.

I feel those Bosch injectors are very promising... Currently, I have am running a set of 1300cc/min Racetronix injectors which are rebadged Delphi's with a new disc type design. I swapped them a few months ago because they boasted better spray patterns and stuff.... To my amazement, those Racetronix ones are pretty good already with an FJO driver and idled close to my old RC 750's saturated; however, the 1300cc's were garbage with a resistor box.

Those Delphi 1300cc injectors + FJO driver box already put me over $560 without shipping costs, and an hour or so of wiring to wire up the driver box. I am also now at the mercy of a potential faulty or failing FJO driver box because they don't have the best reliability record.. A big concern for me because I daily drive this car from fall to spring.

I know the Bosch ones can only be better which is even newer design than those Delphi ones, and way more bang for the buck as well... True plug and play (for those with common OBD-I style clips though). Can't wait to try them out, and also get rid of the wiring mess from the injector driver...lol
