Injector size issue
Hey guys, I got Greddy turbo kit and FMIC on my 00 LS. It looks like 310cc injectors that came with the kit are not big enouth because my engine goes lean at the top end with injectors maxed out. What size do you think I should go with, 370 or 440?
Any inputs on the problem would be appritiated, thanx.

Re: Injector size issue (boostedcivicsir)
I'm planning to change fuel filter and put in 255 walbro hp wuel pump....to see if that will improve my condition a bit. I dont want to spend another 300 bucks on injectors when GReddy already provided me with some....I'm kinda pissed at them, they could have put in bigger injectors in their kit : /

where is your boost? it is designed to work with the boost they set. plus i think they do that so it is a 50 state legal kit? i dont know. there are alot of variables.
are you using the blue box or something else?

Re: Injector size issue (boostedcivicsir)
I go lean as soon as i hit 4-5psi.
I got E-manage, so thats good, at least i'll be able to retune the car with different size injectors later.

You might be able to up the fuel pressure to teporarily compenstate. DSM 450's will only set you back $40-$60 and a new fuel pump will be ~$100, if that is the route you take. GL.

Because they are stock injectors in dsm cars. They will work fine but you will need a resistor box. There are many topics on this, do a search. You need a resistor box because your ecu works with saturated injectors (high impedance) and dsm injectors are peak and hold (low impedance). Impedance = resistance for all intents and purposes that you will likely ever encounter. GL.
