Injector size?
What size injectors should I buy? I am running 8psi now but am going to be running 10 soon. I will be tuning with a hondata.

Yeah, hondata and dsm injectors do not mix. Anyone know why?? I would go with precision injecotrs, you can usually get them a little cheaper than rc's and they are just as good.

Re: Injector size? (beerbongskickass)
Where can I get precesion injectors? I can get RC 440cc for $260. Will these injectors support 15psi? I am planning on going with a built b20b within a year or less. If not i'll just upgrade to bigger injectors when the time comes. Thanks guys.

Hondata suggest that you *DON'T* use DSm injectors. check their website. just get injectors that you can use later when ur motor is built. no need buying injectors twice. 440's will not be enough for a built motor but it really depends on how much power you are looking to push. speak to the person that is going to tune your Hondata.

Depends on which ones. Some seem to work fine and some don't.
Do yourself a favor and get RC injectors

your question has been answered plenty of times on this thread. why don't you call Hondata directly and ask them for yourself. after you do that, please post their response to your question on this thread.

Re: (Killer_B)
Im asking cause I hear contradictions from Hondata ( "Spunkster," who I highly respect. From the Hondata forum) and many people who claim they have positive results.
My main purpose of getting a responce is to prevent purchasing new injectors to reap similar performance. If the DSM injectors do not work, which injectors would work the best for about 300 hp?
Thanks for your comments!

Re: (1strdko)
i don't mean to hijack your thread but while we are on the subject of injectors, what is everyone's opinions of Venom injectors? I have a set of 550cc Venom injectors that I'm planning on using with my built B16. All I want is about 450whp and was told that the 550's would be sufficient. Since purchasing them I have been told that 550's won't cut it, I'll need 720's.... Any comments?

You will need at least 720cc injectors. 550cc wont cut it and if they do you will be on 110% duty cycle.

Re: (ekb18c)
not good. thanks for the quick reply.... i don't think venom goes any higher than 550's and since they are the only injector i've got a good hookup on what brands would you all suggest? best bang for the buck, if you will...

Re: (ekb18c)
hummm, then I'm gonna stick with Venom for the time being since funds are LOW
what size would you guys recommend if a 450-550whp dyno was your goal on a b series motor? i'm looking for a rough estimate is all. I was thinking a 720+/- possibly bigger but was worried about streetability
