Default Injector Problem, help

ok, i bought 680cc injectors (Delphi/MSD) off of viren a few weeks back. I was trying to install them with my mechanic yesterday and am having no luck. this is for a d16y8... could it be possible that these injectors are for a bseries motor? is there any difference on the bseries and dseries injectors? are they all universal?

the problems we are having is 1, the grommit that goes between the manifold and the injector will not work because when it is fit onto the injector it becomes too big to rest in the intake manifold. what should i do? is this normal?

plese help... also problem #2, im having trouble explaining so ill just edit this later...
thanks
:::**UPDATE**:::
i just updated this, my BIG PROBLEM AS OF NOW is;
The area where the upper o ring connects onto the injector(top of injector), the area where the o ring rests in is too big so the o ring doesnt take up all the space when we put them into the fuel rail they just slide down, they are stock civic o rings, we also tried doubling them up but the top one just slid down onto the bottom

First off, why do you need such big injectors? Especially with a D series
Second, you need to bore out the seals when you go with most larger injectors.

i dont really NEED those big of injectors, but i am building my engine and am planning on running over 25psi.. id rather just replace the injectors once, instead of buying 440's etc, and then buying bigger ones when i run high boost. also i am using the aem ems which should help me with the injectors, also if i will be using big injectors id rather do them at the start so i can get my idle etc problems dealt with.... thanks for the response, what do you sugggest to use to bore them out?
thanks

Yeah, if they are the same size as my DSM 450's, use the bigger sanding drum. Oh, also, it helps to double up the injector seals (2 per injector).

Ooo, not the top ones, the bottom bushing/gasket is what I reffered to doubling up. You might have to get fatter o-rings for the top. They sell them in different thicknesses. If the o-ring moves at all, they are too small.

So, when you put the injector on the rail, your upper o-rings that seal the injector to the fuel rail are slipping down over the second o-ring you put on the injector?? I was gonna say, I put a second o-ring on my injectors, below the primary/sealing
o-ring and it prevented the main o-ring from slipping down and let it seal on the fuel rail. Sounds like you need smaller, inside diameter o-rings. Napa will probably have them. Another thing I wanted to add in was that my injectors (Seimens Deka 75lb.) sit on top of the rubber grommet on the manifold......they do not go into the grommets. I then put just the right amount of washers on the fuel rail studs so that when I tighten the fuel rail down, the injectors just start to press on the rubber grommets on the manifold. No leaks at all. Your injectors may have a different shape and this may not work. Put the grommets in the manifold and see if your injectors will sit on top of the grommets.
