Information on Turbos
I have a 92 honda civic hatchback with a b18b1 engine in it. I want to eventually turbo charge it and turn it in to a little toy. Nothing big just a little fun. I plan to rebuild my engine with all new internals first. I want to plan a little and find out what all I will need for the entire build. Also what compression pistons will I need that will work well with the turbo and also is driveable before I get the turbo. I'm new to the whole performance part of things. Any and all information on products I will need is very much appreciated.

Re: Information on Turbos
Well, unless your civic hatchback is an Si, your engine isn't gonna be great candidate for being a performance engine. That's something to consider, that you should buy a different engine to rebuild. Consider at least a d16z6 or a B series.

Thread moved to Forced Induction as that is your plan and goal.

I think you need to do some more research then! Also you didn't give a power goal so half of your question is redundant. Turning it into a "little toy" could be as low as 200hp for some. I know most people underestimate what a 300hp civic feels like. Anyway I digress, tell us what power you want, then we can nudge you in the right direction.
