Default I'm looking for a turbo intake pipe. Please help!

O.K. Just like the topic says. I've been looking and looking. Searching and searching and I just can't seem to find anyone who makes a turbo intake pipe.

I have a Precision turbo on my GSR in a Civic. Rev Hard turbo kit. Right now I have 2 net screens over the turbo air intake but I don't want to leave it like that. I know that the inside of my turbo is getting dirty.

I've called Greddy, I've done google searches and even e-bay searches and still I've come up with nothing.

Is there anyone out there who can help me or point me in the right direction as to how and/or where I can get a turbo intake pipe??

Thanks!!

I am sure if you could figure out what radius bend and how long of a stretch you needed someone like spoolin could help you .I think even if you took some pics and sent them or posted them of how the turbo sits someone on here would chime in? good luck

Yeah, I might have to end up doing that. I just didn't want to have to take pics and everything, thinking that some else already has the same set up and would know exactly which pipe I would need or where I could get one.

Thanks though!

I've been using a flexible pipe (almost looks like dryer duct) I got at autozone.. I'm sure some of you will consider it ghetto, but it has worked really well for me and it's flexible, so I can shape it anyway I want.

Not sure how big your inlet is, but it fits a 3" diameter. Here's a pic of mine:

I made a CAI for my turbo setup out of a piece of aluminum pipe from a $30 ebay CAI kit, a K&N filter, and a stainless J-bend. Here's some pics:

Nope, it's been great so far. The rubber material is pretty stiff and seems to be heat resistant. The packaging has pictures of it attached to throttle bodies on N/A cars and what looks like a turbo setup in another picture, so I'm sure it's designed for high temps.

I cut some of the webbing where the compressor housing is and also cut part of the motor mount.

I made mine from 3" mandrel aluminum and some silicone couplings and a big *** K&N at the end. Here's a pic of my setup, it bends down, then back up and into the inner fender.

4 extra curves for a filter, kinda seems like overkill, after all if you are trying to stay away from hot air temps, i think thats what the intercooler usually takes care of IMO

lemme look in my archives...basically it's just a U bend pointing back up into the right inner fender. I'll post a pic if I can find one.

Where do you guys get the high-temp couplers?

I have some spare crush bends that I got from Pep Boys from doing my intercooler piping. If I can find a high temp coupler I'm going to make my own, only issue I have is getting around my radiator fan.

Any good speed shop will stock a variety of silicone couplers....and there's always ebay..

Yeah I would suggest making your own. I just took some old AEM piping from a CAI I converted to WAI and then got the smallest K&N filter that would fit from Summit Racing. Then I placed the filter in about the only place I could find and I cut the pipe to fit. I would get a cheap eBay intake for piping, a filter, and a coupler and then modify it to work for a cheap solution. I spent about $50 on mine for the filter, silicone coupler, and 2 T bolt clamps. Here are pics:
