ok just got my car tuned last week. after it was done i drove down that street a little and car died. found out ignitor went out. replaced it and car starts. The shop said something with the ecu causing it to burn out. they said they fixed that problem. drove my car today and died again. damn ignitors are expensive as hell so i borrowed my friends dizzy and drove it home.

now im wondering whats causing it to go bad all the time??? shop thinks its ecu. they said they fixed it but guess not. now they said they will chip a whole new ecu for me and give me new ignitor.

can a tune cause it to go bad??? tuning in the ignition??


I had this car boosted for a year now with same set up. retuned cuz more psi and last one was ****. now my ignitors keep going out!!!
