Ignition Map

Anybody know what would be a safe timing at 6300rpm with 12psi of boost? Would 20 degrees BTDC be safe ?

From 5K on up to 8.5K I am at 24 degrees BTDC with 18 psi so i would say that you will be if you run 93 or so octane. I run around 100 octane with 9.2:1 CR.

what is your timinig at 6300rpms at 1inhg. Do you have a gsr or LS? gsr im assuming

i have an LS. Im not sure what it is at 1inhg. I normally only rev that high if im racing and by that point im boosting hard.

Here is the high speed cam ignition map from our turbo GSR (to 10psi) , showing that we run very little retard at boost over stock.
