fuel pressure formula w/ rising rate
I read a formula a few weeks ago on determining fuel pressure with a rising rate regulator but I cant find it. Does anyone know what the formula is. I think it was base fuel pressure/2 + (boost psi X rising rate) or in my case I have a 4:1 riser and boost 18psi and have 30 psi idle pressure so it would look like this 30/2 + (18 X 4) for a total of 87 psi
Is the the correst formula

Re: fuel pressure formula w/ rising rate (boosted97)
I've got 95psi with an 8:1 VorFMU at 7psi boost with idle pressure at 40psi and no vaccuum pres at 50psi. HTH Also, it will be different with larger injectors.....

I suggest you take a look at http://Hondata.com/techfuelpump.html where we test a Honda fuel pump.
The higher the fuel pressure you run, the less fuel the pump delivers.

you simply take your boost pressure, multiply by rise rate, and add base fuel pressure. there's no dividing by 2.
